Wilson Associates 2013 Dallas Point of Excellence Awards

The Wilson Associates 2013 Dallas Point of Excellence Awards Luncheon brought together leading hospitality product suppliers and design firms on November 6 at The Ritz-Carlton Dallas for an afternoon of giving back.

“Wilson Associates has a strong legacy of giving back,” said Olivier Chavy, chief executive officer of Wilson Associates. “Our social conscious is part of our DNA, and I am proud to lead a firm that rewards excellent service and funds philanthropic programs.”

In front of 300 guests, Elissa Murry of George Cameron Nash and Patty Frederick of Frederick & Associates were honored for their excellent vendor service. The luncheon also raised more than $115,000 for The Wilson Foundation (WF) thanks to the generous support of this year’s Diamond and Platinum sponsors: Bart Halpern; Craig Roberts Associates; David Sutherland & Perennials; Donghia; Hill & Associates; ID Collection; Porcelanosa USA; Purchasing Management International; Smith-Brown; Swarovski and Wolf-Gordon.

This year, John Canterbury, executive director of The WF and Dean David Chard of the SMU Annette Caldwell Simmons School of Education & Human Development discussed an impending study abroad partnership that will send students to Vaalwater, South Africa to teach in the public school system.

“Trisha [Wilson] has always believed education is the greatest equalizer,” said Mr. Canterbury. “Our partnership with SMU will ensure the children and teens of Vaalwater receive a solid academic foundation that will set them up for a successful future.”
