Milanese architect and interior stylist Elisa Ossino debuts a new rug design for Amini Carpets, an Italy-based brand with Afghan roots. Campiture’s simple asymmetrical design, akin to an irregular ashlar pattern, synthesizes a heady brew of concepts—geometry, spirituality, metaphysics—and parses the relationship between form and color, abstraction and figuration.
