These Murano Glass Vases Feature Delicate Blooms

Flowers bloom on vases not from them in Malene Birger’s new collaboration with Conie Vallese, an Argentinian artist who frequent consults for the former’s womenswear label. The Danish brand releases five vases by Vallese, both inspired by and to coincide with its Spring/Summer 2025 collection. “To me, flowers represent growth and the ability to bloom—that we are all in a constant state of becoming,” says Vallese, known for decorative objects that explore dreamy grandeur. “I wanted to create a collection that expressed that.” The Murano glass vases, some incorporating filigree and zanfirico, a technique that intertwines thin glass filaments into spiral patterns, anchor lilies that sprout from the sides of the vessels.
