Make A Statement With This Eye-Popping Tile Collection
Isla is a little bit midcentury, a little bit mod. The series’ four graphic deco tiles by Nemo Tile + Stone include this circular motif, which looks especially fetching in white. (Soft coral, green, and sand colorways are also available, all against a light background for a slightly more contrast-y effect.) The tone-on-tone pattern is achieved via a glossy glaze applied to a matte background. An uneven pour results in delightfully irregular edges and texture, which softens the bold geometry and gives the porcelain a handcrafted look. Isla’s 8-inch deco tiles are suitable for walls only, while the coordinating monochrome modules can be installed on low-traffic floors, too.
