Turf Design Unveils Dynamic Acoustic Solutions At NeoCon
The Chicago-born company sits at the forefront of interior acoustics, doubly committed to developing both new aesthetics for the category (consider its myriad fashion-forward and wellness-focused colorways and innovative motifs including stylized woodgrains) and functional solutions for seemingly any spatial situation. That innovation continues apace with this year’s crop of NeoCon intros. Two wall-panel designs introduce a sense of volume, movement, and light play to vertical planes. Cushion has a sinuous profile that imparts a curtainlike appearance, an effect enhanced by four available depths that can be mixed and matched across a space. Point, in four widths, has a sharper, crisper sensibility, with a faceted surface that creates a rhythm of peaks and valleys. Turf also collaborates with Carolyn Ames Noble to expand its research-backed Hues palette with 10 new colors—from Happy Beige to Bubblegum—for a total of 42 impactful yet timeless tones. All products are crafted from Turf’s signature PET felt incorporating preconsumer-recycled content. turf.design
