Extremis’s Sol + Luna Chaise Transitions From Day to Night
For a chaise longue that transitions from day to night, Extremis founder Dirk Wynants chose the name Sol + Luna. The seat’s mesh in PVC-coated polyester, wrapping a powder-coated aluminum frame, is ideal for keeping sunbathers cool, while a mesh sling is for stowing towels, shades, and magazines. For resting cold beverages, there’s a shelf running the length of the chaise. Once the sun goes down, the chaise morphs into a three-seat sofa—that shelf now functions as a backrest, and Sunbrella-covered cushions add comfort.
A round parasol fitted with dimmable LEDs, a side table, and a locker are optional add-ons. Available in white or black, with cushions in five colors.
