With almost 80 years of experience supplying leading luxury hotels around the world with towels, sheets, bedding and pillows that are soft yet durable—and acquiring 80 patents along the way—Standard Textile introduced its first collection designed for the home during Market Week in New York.

The Standard Textile Home collection, available via the company’s website, draws on the products that have been in highest demand by its customers over the years and introduces a range of colors. A key selling point, noted Standard Textile President and CEO Gary Heiman, is the company’s infrastructure—it owns and operates its manufacturing plants—paired with innovation, which has allowed it to develop patented manufacturing processes and technologies that deliver “products that are softer, more absorbent, quicker dying, and longer-lasting.”

According to Heiman, consumer demand is already there: Standard Textile has a waiting list of 5,000+ customers who were won over by the comfort and performance of the company’s bed and bath products during their stays at four- and five-star hotel partners in more than 90 countries around the world.

Standard Textile Home products will be available starting in April. Notable items include Centium Satin Sheet Sets, woven with 65 percent ring-spun combed cotton and 35 percent Centium Core microfilament polyester for a silky feel, in White, Flint Gray and Forever Blue and the Cumulous Top Cover, a lightweight bed cover that takes on a textured look after being tumbled in the dryer.

Bath products currently include 100 percent cotton Lynova and Vidori towel sets in white, with striped and waffle patterns in several colors available in April.

Standard Textile, which is based in Cincinnati, can manufacture its products entirely in the U.S., but also has global production capabilities in facilities worldwide.
