INC Architecture & Design Creates A Creative Club In The Heart Of D.C.
2025 Best of Year Winner for Bar/Social Club
Forget the stiff suits on the Hill. Manifest, a chic multipurpose club by INC Architecture & Design in the trendy Union Market neighborhood, belongs to DC locals and the creative culture that thrives regardless of the administration. The 10,700 square feet have been conceived as a sequence of vaulted and curved spaces that transition from public to private, each defined by its color and material palette. The journey begins at street level with a light-filled café, shop, and barbershop, its mint-green walls as refreshing as a hot shave. Down a spiral stair is an ochre lounge with banquette seating, an inviting mauve-enveloped bar, and a moody emerald-drenched speakeasy. Soft lighting and polished concrete flooring throughout keep the vibe approachable. After all, Manifest aims to be a “third place” for the community, where even a weekly haircut is a special experience.
