Inside A Hangzhou Workplace Stacked For E-Commerce Success
2025 Best of Year Winner for Small Corporate Office
One of four such projects Ippolito Fleitz Group (IFG) has realized for the client, the 27,300-square-foot MAX Zone Technology Park Show Office on a multibuilding Hangzhou, China, campus is aimed at the e-commerce sector, unsurprising given that the region is home to more than 55,000 online retail companies. A playful, creative tone is set in the 25-foot-high ground-floor lobby, where reception, exhibition areas, meeting rooms, a lounge, and an auditorium are stacked like building blocks to form a multifunctional ensemble. This sensibility carries through to the four floors above, where clean lines in focused-work areas are softened by hospitality-inspired furnishings and a color palette that balances vibrant and serene. At the top, the executive floor features a central column with fins arching across the ceiling like the branches of a tree, symbolizing a strong, nurturing management ethos.
