Rocky Mountain Hardware Embraces Shine

There’s no denying it—everyone likes shiny. While the matte look may reign supreme in these minimalist-inflected times, a simple survey of history reveals that humans have been coveting reflective, luminous stuff since we first discovered the ability to transform ore into weapons, jewelry, and decorative items for the home.

Today, high-polished, metallic looks are back in demand. Rocky Mountain Hardware, the leading manufacturer of bronze architectural hardware, has heard the design community’s cry for something eye-catching and announced two new high-polish finishes in fall 2018.

Silicon Bronze High Polished, which has a reflective gold look, and White Bronze High Polished, which has a silver sheen, are completely new finish options for the Idaho-based brand. While all of Rocky Mountain’s finishes are hand applied, these two new looks are the most time-intensive of all of its products—with some pieces taking up to an hour to make shine. All this hard work pays off, though, in elevated hardware perfect for any luxury kitchen or bath.

“The philosophy to ‘never say no’ is the foundation from which Rocky Mountain Hardware was built,” says the company’s CEO Christian Nickum. “Our new high-polish finishes are truly different from anything we have offered in the past, and we are thrilled to work with our clients to create one-of-a-kind designs with true artisan appeal.”
