The Making Of A Serene Yet Experiential London Lounge

standout: Of Nigerian heritage, raised in County Clare, Ireland, and now based in London after studying interior architecture in Milan, Ojuolape’s multidisciplinary practice is cosmopolitan, cross-cultural, and immersive—visible in a recent commission from Trimble SketchUp, which was a sponsor of Collect fair, at Somerset House last February. Using the 3D-modeling software, she created an attendee lounge that was part maker’s library, part experiential installation, highlighting tactility and select objects from the show, including pieces by Brits, Brazilians, and Celts. They were displayed on ad hoc plinths of pistachio-green acoustic panels in recycled-content wood-wool, while a swath of voile defined the petite corner bar. tolaojuolape.com
