Rob Perri currently serves as the Vice President of Armstrong Architectural Systems Brand Companies at Armstrong World Industries. As VP, Rob brings his vast background, expertise, and skills in product innovation, global strategy, and manufacturing. Perri’s previous leadership roles include PepsiCo, Sara Lee Corporation, Motorola and Hewlett-Packard, with each showcasing his success in cutting-edge global product strategy. During his time in each role, he grew businesses through innovation, focusing on R&D and new business. In addition to working as VP, Rob maintains his role as President of Turf Design, where he works to develop and scale the business. Rob has used his cross-functional background to provide structure, while growing the brand’s vibrant culture. Since joining Turf, he has led the company through a pandemic, its acquisition by Armstrong in 2020, and driven Turf’s growth, from $12 million in sales to over $60 million with a staff that continues to grow. He’s overseen company milestones including Turf’s rebrand and significant product/offering launches like the release of Turf’s exclusive Hues palette and ever-expanding Textures collections. Additionally, Rob led the relocation of the company’s design offices and showroom into the historical Merchandise Mart, and oversaw the showroom’s expansion into a new space, creating the new Turf Design Experience Center, one of THE MART’s largest showroom spaces at nearly 20,000 square feet. Currently, as Vice President, Rob maintains full profit and loss responsibility for Turf, Arktura and 3form acquisitions. Through his leadership, he manages strategy, accelerates growth, and leverages Armstrong Architectural Systems’ resources to meet the company’s overall strategic, operational, and financial objectives. This role leverages Rob’s experience, passion, and leadership to drive distinctive brands in the marketplace to achieve their strategic growth.
