10 Product Highlights From KBIS Virtual 2021
No venue, no problem. This year, the annual Kitchen & Bath Industry Show has gone virtual, hosting industry webinars and interactive displays through KBIS Connect. Here are 10 kitchen and bath products that caught our editors’ eyes on the first day of festivities.
1. Brown Jordan Outdoor Kitchens
Daniel Germani, the brand’s creative director and award-winning architect, selected 13 new powder-coated colors for its line of outdoor kitchens. With options like Mint green and Cotton Candy pink, Germani says, “many of these new hues push the design envelope and were selected to inspire designers to be bold and create a space that is both eye-catching and sophisticated.”
2. Dekton® Craftizen Collection by Cosentino
A leader in quartz, natural stone, and recycled surface production, Cosentino debuted new product colorways and innovative applications at KBIS Virtual 2021. The Dekton® Craftizen Collection, inspired by Venetian stucco, boasts industry-leading durability in five diverse hues with a rich texture.
3. Moxie by Kohler
Kohler’s Moxie showerhead takes the concept of singing in the shower to the next level. Not only does it have a built-in speaker, but an embedded Amazon Alexa optimizes user experience with voice command. Three sophisticated colorways are available: Chrome/white, brushed nickel/grey, and matte black/grey.
4. Copenhagen Bath Vanity by Room & Board
A new collection of artisanal bathroom vanities with built-in storage solutions by Room & Board seamlessly melds form and function. Each Copenhagen Bath Vanity unit is handcrafted by woodworkers in North Dakota, available in warm wood tones and and serene neutrals.
5. Calacatta Maximus by Caesarstone
As part of Caesarstone’s Whitelight collection, introduced at KBIS Virtual 2021, Calacatta Maximus captures the beauty and drama of Italian white marble, distilling the stone’s natural veining into sophisticated backdrops and surfacing solutions for kitchens and bathrooms alike.
6. Juniper by True Residential
Conjuring images of the aromatic juniper berry, True Residential’s new finish for its indoor and outdoor products is a deep teal, adding yet another shade to the many color combinations designers can choose from for custom hardware and finishes in the brand’s Build Your True collection.
7. Gallery by Shaws Sinks
Inspired by blooming natural flora and modern art, Shaws’ new collection of apron-front fireclay sinks bring graphics to the fore of kitchen and bathroom design. The patina-like pattens and metallic hues are fired into the clay using a specially designed kiln, then glazed to smooth perfection.
8. VOLA Matte White by Hastings Tile & Bath
Both serene and commanding with its ability to catch the light, Hastings Tile & Bath is the first to offer North American markets VOLA: Matte White. The versatile finish enables designers to add a subtle, earthy touch to kitchen and bathroom sinks.
9. Pro Range by Monogram®
Kitchen appliance manufacturer Monogram® has completely re-designed its professional range with luxurious details that elevate the home kitchen. Featuring brass accents and dual-fuel gas ranges, the pièce de résistance is a seven-inch control panel that operates by touch. Users are able to safely control and maintain each element’s flame via the SmartHQ app, or Hestan Cue for a guided cooking experience.
10. BlueStar® by Design Digitally Printed Appliances
For the ultimate in customization, manufacturer of kitchen and bathroom appliances BlueStar® introduced a new cutting-edge printing process that allows for any image, graphic, text, print, pattern or artwork to be applied directly onto refrigerators and ranges. Durable and smooth, the satin-like finish is easily cleanable, and designers can choose from 1,000 vibrant colors to create custom designs.
