9 Outdoor Products Have Us Designing for Spring
“Like a pair of leather boots, it will change organically over time,” Ronan Bouroullec says. He’s describing Stampa, a chair that Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec has designed for Kettal. The manufacturer’s signature material, aluminum, individually drilled with holes for the seat and the back, is what makes this chair so light, just 11 pounds. Powder-coat the metal in any of 28 colors, and add a seat cushion if you like. Speaking of time, Kettal celebrates its 50th anniversary this year.
