chose the product for The Moorings residences in Hingham, MA, for its versatility and ability to multitask. “Due to the harbor-side location, many exterior material cues were taken from the marine environment,” explains David Taylor, the firm’s CA Manager. “The ABET wall panels were selected to recall the mahogany trim used in classic sailing vessels. This allowed us to select a material that is durable and resistant to color fading.”

Weather was a factor in that the firm needed a material durable enough to stand up to the marine environment. “Color fastness and easy installation made MEG an excellent match of material performance and application need for the Hingham project,” says Tony Damiano, president, Abet.
