Building on Success: Seeyond Architectural Systems’ NeoCon Debut

Building on Success

Seeyond Architectural Systems made its NeoCon debut with Tess, a proprietary tool for parametric specification. A year later, Seeyond’s focus shifts to designers who might need a nudge to decide precisely what they’re specifying. Thought Starters, a 15-volume library of templates for commercial interiors, handles walls, facings, columns, enclosures, and canopies. In each category, a basic form provides a starting point for creating a bespoke treatment. Once a draft is final, an architectural element can be constructed from the company’s standard cellular resin or two new materials: a durable and flexible thermoplastic polyester resin and a composite of aluminum sheets sandwiching a polyethylene core. 800-508-5455;
