BuzziSpace’s New BuzziPleat by 13&9 Offers Top-Notch Acoustics

Bringing traditional hand-pleating into the 21st century, 13&9 partners Martin Lesjak and Anastasia Su are introducing BuzziPleat, a multipurpose sound-absorbing element for BuzziSpace. The company’s BuzziFelt, made from upcycled plastic bottles, is folded in multiple formations to maximize surface area, resulting in superior acoustical performance. Mount BuzziPleat on the wall, and you have a sculpture with an architectural edge. Add a LED bulb, and you have a pendant fixture. Choose from three patterns, a dozen colors, and three diameters: 32, 47, and 63 inches.
