Cameron Stewart Designs Yale Hotel with Mid-Century Furnishings
Norman Cherner attended Columbia University. But his chairs furnish the penthouse at the Study at Yale, a boutique hotel overlooking the university’s campus in New Haven. They were chosen by Cameron Schwabenton, whose firm, Cameron Stewart, further outfitted the 1,200-square-foot lounge, dining, and events space with a mid-century credenza in walnut and such vintage-inspired custom pieces as walnut drop-leaf tables and a brass chandelier. A tall bookcase holds leather-bound volumes on the American Revolution.
