Clé’s Artist Cement Series Calls on Wide Range of Designers
Typically, 19th-century precedents inform Clé founder and creative director Deborah Osburn’s handmade tiles in encaustic cement. She moves into the present with the Artist Cement series. “New works envisioned by provocative minds,” aka artists and designers from the U.S., South America, and Europe, is how she describes the patterns.
All are translated into 8-inch squares or hexagons. Pre-polished and pre-sealed, the tiles are appropriate for floors or walls, inside or out.
