Modern clinic exterior with peach-colored tiles, glass entrance, and "VISAGE" sign; one person stands inside at the counter, another walks a dog outside.
To bring in daylight to and introduce the branding palette of Visage dental and aesthetic-medicine clinic in Castellón, Spain, local studio Vitale installed a 9-by-12-foot swath of glazing, Fabresa’s 6-inch-square glazed ceramic tile, and custom powder coated–aluminum signage.

Say Ahhh At This Hospitality-Driven Dental Clinic In Spain

The Mediterranean Sea, immersive vegetation, an Aperol spritz at a vintage pool bar—each could be a component of a vacation setting. But they’re actually the inspirations for Visage, a dental and aesthetic-medicine clinic in Castellón, Spain, that’s conceived to be soothing rather than stressful. That’s due to Vitale, a local firm founded by industrial designers Lucía Chover, Carlos Folch, and Santiago Martín specializing in wellness environments and named after the Latin word for critical. “It reflects the essence of our work: vitalizing businesses, strengthening and bringing to light what’s valuable in brands,” Chover explains. At Visage, the partners’ salutogenic, company-aligned approach began with building upon the nude and ultramarine-blue corporate colors, then layering in glamorous drapery, an indoor-outdoor connection, and contemporary furnishings with soft, rounded profiles—all of which not only address functional needs but also, Chover adds, activate a “sensory memory of rest.” The strategy appears to be a success for Vitale, which has completed some 20 healthcare projects throughout Europe, with six more in development.
