Mohawk Group Showcases Floors That Move You at NeoCon
Sponsored by Mohawk Group
Mohawk Group
‘s Floors That Move You concept, which was unveiled at NeoCon 2015, provides a unique perspective on flooring. The company launched 10 new collections that span every flooring category—broadloom, carpet tile, woven, luxury vinyl tile (LVT) and its newest category, hardwood. Mohawk’s comprehensive flooring solutions allow designers to create lasting environments with enduring products and visionary possibilities. The company is concentrated on creating transformative experiences through flooring solutions, service, responsiveness and customer relationships.
The moving experience for Mohawk’s customers did not end at the NeoCon showroom. Building upon the
Floors that Move You
theme, the company hosted a customer event called
Night Moves
at the Galleria Marchetti in the heart of Chicago. The evening featured special performances from singer Natasha Bedingfield and tap-dancing routines from an
America’s Got Talent
dance troupe.
Perhaps the most talked-about introduction for the company at NeoCon was Moving Floors. Designed in collaboration with Innocad’s
13&9 Design
, Moving Floors is the company’s first innovative carpet collection designed to be
dynamically moving
based on the user’s changing point of view. Moving Floors is an inventive interpretation of nature, landscapes and texture as it explores the fourth dimension. The collection epitomizes Innocad’s 13&9 approach to design, which is a unique dialogue between the individual and the environment with a focus on concepts of modularity, compatibility, flexibility and transformation.
Attendees were also drawn to the new
Interior Design HIP award-winning
product, Mass Appeal. Mass Appeal LVT creates bold installations with textures inspired by natural stone, contemporary metal and inviting linen. The collection features subtle metallic highlights and complements a wide variety of Mohawk Group carpets, including Mohawk’s new Iconic Earth collection.
