Gebrüder T 1819 Revives Bauhaus Furniture by Thonet, Breuer for Use Outside

Reviving indoor Bauhaus classics for use outside, Gebrüder T 1819 has added a UV-resistant coating to tubular steel frames, swapped waxed cotton for Batyline PVC-polyester mesh, and replaced lacquered wood with concrete or plastic laminate. The result is the Thonet All Seasons collection. For example, Mart Stam’s famous cantilevered chair from 1926 can now withstand the elements as the colorful S 33 N and S 34 N with arms, and so can Thonet’s B 97 side table, from 1933. Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and Marcel Breuer designs have come out to play, too.
