#IDneocon: HBF Textiles Revisits Le Corbusier for Spring 2016 Collection

Play fulness and performance go hand in hand as HBF Textiles (space 387) unveils its Spring 2016 collection. Vice president of design Mary Jo Miller revisited Le Corbusier’s color palette from the 1920’s, which became the springboard for the 50-SKU lineup. “It was especially exciting to see how something so classic can still be embodied by a line that is perfectly modern,” she says. One standout is the jacquard-woven Squiggle Stripe, in cotton-polyester-acrylic, which adds visual impact to large-scale surfaces. Other o fferings include a solid-color coated polyurethane and a nubby polyesteracrylic, both bleach-cleanable; a comingling of polyester and solution-dyed nylon; and a leather accented with metallic pigments.
