Clients from Maharam to IKEA depend on Scholten & Baijings for striking geometry, confident colors, and approachable sophistication. Now, Stefan Scholten and Carole Baijings turn their talents toward surfacing. Intended as an open-ended collaboration, the Glass Gradients series for Skyline Design (space 1060) debuts with two symmetrical patterns, Dot and Square. PPG’s Starphire tempered safety glass is etched or printed in varying degrees of intensity, the density and scale customizable depending on the opacity required. Panels come in sizes up to 60 by 120 inches.
