Interior Design and Carnegie Present NeoCon’s First-Ever Sound Booth

Interior Design editor in chief Cindy Allen will be live-streaming design conversations with top talents at NeoCon’s first-ever sound booth, Interior Design Live, on Monday, June 13, and Tuesday, June 14, from 12:00-1:30 PM CDT. The interviews will be shared on Facebook Live here, and additional conversations with Interior Design managing editor Helene Oberman will follow. This unique program is the result of a partnership with Carnegie, who is providing its new acoustical, embroidered Xorel Artform panels using Carnegie’s proprietary Biobased Xorel, the world’s first-ever plant-based textile, derived from sugarcane.

Installed on the Merchandise Mart’s new Grand Stairs off the South Lobby, the booth is designed by Rockwell Group and fabricated by Czarnowski Display Services. Sponsors Knoll and Mannington will provide furnishings and flooring, respectively. Among the exciting design talents we’re expecting so far, look out for visits by David Rockwell and Barry Richards of Rockwell Group, Carole Baijings of Scholten & Baijings, Patricia Urquiola of Studio Urquiola, and Brad Zizmor of A+I.

Watch it all live on Monday, June 13, and Tuesday, June 14, from 12:00-1:30 PM CDT.
