Mannington Commercial Updates a Classic Luxury Vinyl Tile Collection

Ah, to have unlimited customization options, especially when it comes to durable flooring—a top-of-mind, yet rather elusive, wish among designers during the specification process. Often, the nature of a space dictates the flooring selection, it’s no surprise that healthcare settings demand easy cleaning while office projects may prioritize aesthetics. Yet in all commercial spaces, flooring functions as a workhorse. Above all else, it must perform.

Mannington Commercial, a fourth-generation, family-owned company, carved a niche by crafting innovative flooring that melds form and function, as its updated luxury vinyl tile collection demonstrates, complete with endless customization options. Now the firm’s classic Amtico Signature Collection features a vast array of patterns and colorways, reflecting abstract shapes and biophilic designs. These include 18 new Wood visuals, six new Stone visuals, 18 new Abstract visuals, and 10 new Signature Laying Patterns, which enable designers to create a bespoke look with ease.

Designers also have the option of fully customizing the Amtico Signature line while Mannington Commercial does the heavy lifting. The company offers a custom design service to assist with flooring layout or logo insets for unique projects as well as customization of running-line Amtico Signature products. “This gets you a custom look without the custom work,” said Roby Isaac, vice president of design at Mannington Commercial. “We take your selection of Amtico Signature visuals and cut them to form striking flooring layouts (Signature Laying Patterns) or flooring insets (Motifs).”

At the same time, Mannington Commercial remains focused on sustainability. The Amtico Signature Collection offers a nonorthophthalate construction, is FloorScore Certified, made with two percent rapidly renewable resource content, and features an industrywide thirdparty Type III EPD and published HPD. The collection also may contribute to certain LEED credits.

Given the vast array of patterns and visuals now available in the updated collection, the Amtico Visualizer tool enables designers to easily experiment with product selections and patterns. Customizable Motif designs also are available, adding a unique feature to any space and, ultimately, bringing the design vision to life.
