Nest Studio Pairs With Plaster Artist Stephen Antonson for Pinch Collection of Knobs and Pulls

Nest Studio, the hardware design firm founded by Jessica Davis, pairs with New York plaster artist Stephen Antonson to bring forth the Pinch collection, a celebration of handwork. Antonson cut paper shapes and then created prototypes in aluminum foil, tin, and plaster gauze, eventually alighting on a variety of organic forms that felt just right. The plaster-sculpted prototypes were then cast in brass and hand finished, retaining the marks of the artist’s touch. The resulting series encompasses three sculptural knobs, a cup pull, and two sizes of handles, all available in four finishes: matte white, polished nickel, blacked bronze, and polished unlacquered brass. Use them to adorn cabinetry or receptive furniture
pieces.
