On the Move: Jack Schreur Appointed CEO of FLOS USA

Jack Schreur has been appointed CEO of FLOS USA, succeeding CEO Jan Vingerhoets. Schreur joins FLOS from Herman Miller, where he served as vice president of Herman Miller Collection and Geiger (North Carolina).

“FLOS has terrific products and is the design leader in the lighting space,” Schreur says. “With the acquisition of Lukas Lighting we have an opportunity to combine their world-class custom capability with FLOS’ iconic designs and create products that meet a whole new set of customer needs.” Lukas Lighting has outfitted custom lighting sculptures for both Converse’s Boston headquarters by Jennifer Carpenter Architects and Gensler New York’s IIDA-award-winning lobby for Capital One.

Vingerhoets (pictured, right) was appointed CEO of Unifor USA’s North American region. Effective September 2016, Vingerhoets will direct Molteni&CDada, and UniFor. “I’ve long admired Molteni as a company with a robust design history, and, at the same time, an eye on the future,” Vingerhoets says. At Molteni Group, Vingerhoets aims to further strengthen ties between the brands, drawing on the company’s 82-year history and his 20 years of experience at Italian design companies such as Alessi, Artemide, and most recently FLOS.
