Architecture and Design Industry Promotions and Hires
Bentley Mills
Jim Cusick has been named president of Bentley Mills, the California-based commercial flooring brand and part of global flooring company Belysse. Cusick, who joined Bentley in August 2025 and has served as Interim President, officially assumes the role as the brand enters a period of renewed momentum. He brings more than 30 years of experience in manufacturing and flooring, with a track record of building high-performing teams and delivering sustainable operational growth.
EwingCole
EwingCole has named a new executive leadership team as part of the Philadelphia-based firm’s nine-year governance rotation. John L. Capelli, formerly director of the government practice, steps in as CEO; Jason E. Fierko, director of healthcare operations, becomes President; and Peter J. Welsh, rises to executive vice president and COO. Aitor Sanchez-Prado, takes on national business development as senior vice president, and Sara J. Eastman, assumes firmwide talent initiatives as vice president. Outgoing CEO Jared Loos transitions to chairman of the board.
Keffer Studio

Greg Keffer, former partner at Rockwell Group, has launched Keffer Studio, an independent New York-based architecture and interior design practice specializing in luxury hotels, restaurants, entertainment venues, and branded residences. Keffer brings decades of multidisciplinary experience leading major international projects for Edition Hotels, Raffles, St. Regis, Fairmont, and Equinox Hotels, alongside restaurant collaborations with José Andrés, Nobu Matsuhisa, and Danny Meyer. First commissions include an experiential retail space in Union Square, a boutique café and bar in Toronto, and a luxury hotel project.
DBM Studio
Maria Korobko has joined DBM Studio as its European client development lead, supporting the Dubai-born hospitality design practice as it opens a London office. Korobko brings over 15 years of experience across the UAE, UK, Spain, and France, most recently as executive director and global VP of development at Bulldozer Group, where she oversaw eight venues and spearheaded the group’s European expansion across London, Marbella, and Paris. Earlier work includes developing the Murakami and Gyoza Bar brands in London for FM Group.
Jonathan Adler
Alison Bergen has been appointed president of Jonathan Adler, the bold home décor brand acquired by Consortium Brand Partners in December 2024. Bergen brings luxury retail experience from Michael Kors, Diane von Furstenberg, and Louis Vuitton, with a particular focus on accelerating growth for private equity-backed brands. In her new role, she will drive wholesale, retail, licensing, and e-commerce expansion while preserving the brand’s signature Modern American Glamour aesthetic alongside founder Jonathan Adler.
10 Design
Andrew Liu has been appointed studio lead for 10 Design’s San Francisco office, returning to the city where he began his career. Previously managing director and design lead at Arquitectonica International, Liu brings over 35 years of experience delivering complex mixed-use developments across the United States, China, and Southeast Asia, with credits including The Infinity and Trinity Plaza in San Francisco and MixC Shenyang and Intercontinental BGC Manila abroad. His appointment supports 10 Design’s continued expansion across the Americas.

Mantra Inspired Furniture
Mantra Inspired Furniture, a Norfolk, Virginia-based commercial furniture manufacturer, has acquired Created Hardwood, an Ohio-based maker of custom solid American hardwood furniture. The acquisition expands Mantra’s manufacturing capacity and customization capabilities while deepening its commitment to sustainably sourced, American-made production. Created Hardwood brings decades of precision hardwood craftsmanship to the combined organization, positioning both companies to serve designers, dealers, and commercial clients seeking larger-scale, design-driven furniture solutions.
Tai Ping and Edward Fields
Kate Judd has been appointed managing director of the Americas at Tai Ping and Edward Fields, where she will oversee the strategic, commercial, and operational direction of both luxury carpet brands across the region. Judd joins after more than 13 years at The Rug Company, most recently as managing director of global partners and the Middle East, with senior leadership experience spanning showroom development and international distribution across London, New York, Los Angeles, Moscow, Cape Town, and the Middle East.

Perkins&Will

Matthew Krissel has been named design director for Perkins&Will’s New York and Philadelphia studios, where he will co-lead multidisciplinary design strategy alongside Sommer Schauer, who became principal and design director following A+I’s merger with Perkins&Will in September 2025. Krissel, who joined the firm as design principal in 2024, brings over two decades of experience in higher education, institutional, and research-focused projects. Schauer spent three decades at A+I, most recently as principal and chief design officer.

DesignAgency
Global hospitality design studio DesignAgency has acquired the Singapore studio of EDG Interior Architecture + Design, marking the close of EDG’s 14-year Asia-Pacific chapter. The Singapore team will continue under Managing Director Rob Shen and Design Director Erin Juhl, bringing a portfolio of acclaimed regional work including Interior Design’s 2020 Best of Year Award for Hotel Dining for The Chinese National at Swissôtel Jakarta. The transition expands DesignAgency’s global footprint alongside existing studios in Toronto, Washington D.C., and Barcelona.
Potocco

Rodolfo Agrella, New York-based Venezuelan designer and founder of multidisciplinary studio RADS, has been appointed art director of Potocco, the Italian furniture brand founded in Manzano in 1919 and renowned for its woodworking heritage. Agrella will oversee art direction across all consumer touchpoints and spearhead a refreshed visual identity—with red as a defining motif referencing the brand’s prototype chairs—while supporting Potocco’s continued international expansion. A first expression of the new direction debuted at 3daysofdesign 2026.
Jaipur Living
James Ashley has been named senior vice president of sales at Jaipur Living, the Georgia-based global leader in rugs, textiles, and home furnishings. Ashley brings over 20 years of senior sales and marketing leadership in the home furnishings and lighting industries, with prior executive roles at Gabriella White, Eurofase Lighting, Hunter Fan Company, and ELK Home. In his new role, he will lead sales strategy across interior design, furniture retail, contract hospitality, and national accounts channels.

CetraRuddy
CetraRuddy has elevated five longtime collaborators to partner: Brian J. McFarland, whose 40-year career spans multifamily residential new construction and adaptive reuse; Theresa M. Genovese, who leads the firm’s cultural and education practice with credits including Fotografiska Museum; Paul-Arthur Heller, recognized for life sciences, mixed-use, and international commissions; Charles Thomson, project lead on the 45-story Rose Hill tower in Manhattan; and Jonny Whitaker, who oversees firm operations as Managing Director.
Wolf-Gordon
Wolf-Gordon, the New York-based surface design company known for its wallcoverings, wall protection, and acoustical materials, has acquired Andor Willow, a premium architectural wood panel and room divider brand. The acquisition extends Wolf-Gordon’s material portfolio into natural wood surfaces, one of the fastest-growing categories in commercial interiors. Andor Willow will continue operating under its own name, with founder Sascha Tettero-Weyman and CEO Devon Howard remaining to lead product design, development, and direct marketing.
DIG Architecture

Suzette Bather Taylor has been named managing principal of DIG Architecture’s Queens office, where she will oversee strategic growth, business development, and integration of the firm’s transportation, healthcare, and education portfolio following DIG’s absorption of legacy practice Graf & Lewent Architects. Previously program director for business diversity at the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, where she drove equity initiatives across the $19 billion JFK transformation, she also held leadership roles in the NYC Mayor’s Office of M/WBEs and the New York Governor’s Office of Storm Recovery.
Flos
Pablo Illueca has been appointed chief executive officer of Flos, the iconic Italian lighting manufacturer founded in 1962. Illueca joined the Flos Group in 2012, rising through roles at Valencia-based subsidiary Antares S.A. and as General Manager of Flos US before being named CEO of Antares in 2020. He has also served as the group’s ESG Ambassador since 2022. His appointment positions Flos for a new phase of growth within the Flos B&B Italia Group.

ROAM Interior Design

Halah Ciafardini has joined ROAM Interior Design as senior project manager and vice president, bringing over 20 years of luxury hospitality experience to the Dallas-based studio. Her portfolio spans full-scale renovations, resort developments, spa design, and destination dining for Four Seasons, Ritz-Carlton, Hyatt, Hilton, and Marriott International. Known for translating complex brand frameworks into enduring design outcomes, Ciafardini brings an owner’s perspective that balances creative vision with operational and financial considerations.
