Tom Krizmanic, AIA, has joined Gensler as studio director in the firm’s New York office. Krizmanic most recently served as principal at STUDIOS Architecture, where he spearheaded the design of tech and media offices for MarimekkoShutterstock, MTV Networks, HBO, Dow Jones, Scholastic, Bloomberg LP, and Grey Advertising.

After receiving a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the Catholic University of America, Krizmanic started interning at STUDIOS’ Washington, DC, outpost in 1989. In 1997, he led the design efforts of the firm’s newly opened New York office, where his sharp design acumen and successful client collaborations resulted in a promotion to principal.

“I’m looking forward to starting a new chapter at Gensler, where I’ll be focusing on designing workplaces that cater to the ever-evolving needs of media industry clients,” Krizmanic says.
