Onward and Upward: 38 Breathtaking Images from 2014
This year’s architecture, interiors, fashion, and art reached new heights. In the wake of Interior Design’s November redesign, the 38 extraordinary images selected from hundreds of projects all around the globe were paired alongside coverage of our Hall of Fame inductee’s work, making for a beautiful contrast between the past and future of design. From Next Architects’s The Elastic Perspective, a mobius strip of a staircase outside of Rotterdam, to Erich Remash Architect’s high-reaching The Helix Spire for the Burning Man festival, we were reminded that design is always going in one direction: forward.
