Interior Design hosts a weekly photo contest on Instagram called #idpicks. Each Wednesday, we announce a new theme and ask our followers to tag their images with our hashtag. ????New Photography :: JLABS @ Toronto ???? Adding to Johnson & Johnson Innovation’s network of life science facilities, JLABS @ Toronto is their first location outside of the U.S. with a design that reflects the architectural context of the city. Upon arrival, visitors are guided through the space via this portal, which frames a stunning view of the #Toronto skyline. Our #projectoftheweek features the #office #renovation of RAB Lighting which was established in 1946. Over the past 7 years we’ve been working with them, RAB has transformed from a traditional #manufacturer into a #tech company focused on #LED lighting and control systems – as a result their growth has been explosive! This picture shows the room where RAB brings their customers from around the country for intensive #training sessions. The tiered seating and tables were based on MBA lecture rooms, but the design incorporates an #architectural language developed during our analysis phase and features RAB’s new line of interior light #fixtures. #renovation #lighting #lights @rablighting #lightingdesign (Photo by Chris Gallo)
