Take a Breather at the Armory Show in Fritz Hansen’s Elegant Pommery Champagne Lounge

The 2019 Armory Show is bigger than ever before; having incorporated the original VOLTA space into its floor-plan, the expanded show spans Piers 90, 92, and 94 on Manhattan’s West Side. Works from 198 galleries based in 38 countries worldwide are on view from today until Sunday, March 10. With so much to see in so little time, making it around to every exhibitor is a feat in and of itself. 

Design enthusiasts in attendance can catch their breath (and a glass of champagne) at the Pommery champagne bar, furnished by none other than Fritz Hansen. The bar, located at the entrance to Pier 94, features the high-end Danish manufacturer’s most iconic designs. Eagle-eyed design connoisseurs will be able to spot Arne Jacobson’s iconic Egg™ Chair and Jaime Hayon’s Plenum™ from a mile away, along with designs from the likes of Paul McCobb and BIG and KiBiSi.
