Textural Geometric Motifs Inspire Justina Blakeney’s Collection for Loloi Rugs

Growing up in Berkeley, California, she encountered a convergence of cultures, inciting a lifelong infatuation with all things bohemian. As an adult in Los Angeles, the designer-author has perfected her eclecticism, even trademarking the term jungalow to describe her style. She has now partnered with Loloi Rugs on her first signature collection, Loloi x Justina Blakeney, which breaks down into two series.

The textural geometric motifs of the Fable series lie “somewhere between ’70’s shag and Turkish tulu,” she says. Artisans in India flat-weave viscose and wool yarns but, instead of severing the excess, pull them to the front, creating the luxuriant detail. Available in six colorways and four standard dimensions.
