The James New York hotel is known for its fashion-forward thinking—from its staff uniforms designed by Andrew Buckler, to the art from emerging artists on each of its 14 guestroom floors, right up to the Piet Boon Penthouse Loft. The latest amenity for guests is The Stylist Collection, curated by Mimi Lombardo, which will allow them to take The James’s style out of the guestrooms and onto the street.

“The James brand is all about refined and elegant style that is also accessible and

au courant

,” says Lombardo. “The items I selected to represent those traits are ideally suited to The James guest and to the hotel’s overall design aesthetic.” These items include a waxed canvas iPad case from Ernest Alexander, a Christopher Fisher ombre wrap scarf, and jewelry from the likes of Kara Ross and Trina Turk.

Each item is available for purchase directly from the guest suites, and appointments can be made with Lombardo herself for personalized shopping excursions.

Similar collections will launch at The James Chicago and The James Royal Palm in Miami, which will open this fall, bringing a touch of The James style across the country.
