Virserius Studio Designs Le Campus in Paris

Not all airport hotels are dreary. Witness the business center Virserius Studio has renovated at the Hyatt Regency Paris–Charles de Gaulle. It now boasts an edgy brand of Parisian chic. A vivid mural by French graffiti artist Le Monstre introduces the 14,000-square-foot mezzanine, which is divided into areas for working, reading, eating, and entertaining. The floor-scape is equally eye-catching, as it shifts between patterns in green-and-blue or gray-and-white. “It takes you back to university days, when we were allowed moments of carelessness,” owner Therese Virserius explains. Which is why the project’s name is Le Campus.
