Elyse Graham Unveils Customizable Sconces In Bold Hues
Echoing the mesmerizing work of Light and Space movement artists such as James Turrell and Larry Bell, Elyse Graham casts layers of hand-pigmented translucent resin into color-block geometries that look a lot like stained glass. Backlit by LEDs, the compositions become glowing wall sconces, named Lucent. The steel-framed fixtures, measuring 19 inches high and 5 wide, are offered in a range of considered color pairings—various combos of sienna, yellow, sage, lilac, sky, and aqua. Crafted in-house by Graham’s Oregon studio, Lucent can, upon request, be fully customized in palette, pattern, and scale.
