After Dropbox and Instagram, Geremia Design Tackles Figma’s San Francisco HQ

Dropbox and Instagram are among Geremia Design’s roster of boldface digital clients in San Francisco. Now there’s Figma, creator of collaborative interface design tools. And its 5,000-square-foot headquarters is refreshingly analog. A simple envelope of white-painted walls and maple floorboards is punctuated by plywood banquettes, wool or cotton rugs, copper planters, string lights, and works by such emerging talents as Sabine Marcelis, Elise McMahon, Katie Stout, and Chris Wolston. Not that the digital is entirely absent. Commissioning a mural for the reception area, Lauren Geremia asked graphic designer Sofia Clausse to develop her concept with Figma software.
