Filzfelt Creates Sound-Dampening Modular Wall Tiles Featuring Rhythmic Eva Zeisel Patterns

During her lifetime, Hungarian ceramist Eva Zeisel created not only biomorphic objets but also rugs, furniture, and lamps. And tiles, too. The latter sparked FilzFelt to produce a six-piece line of modular wall tiles, all in sound-dampening wool. With Fish Block, a shapely school appears to swim across walls, while Hourglass Block is based on Zeisel’s rhythmic partitions of the same name. Additional designs include one derived from prototypes of her never-produced bottles for Coca-Cola and another from her famous belly-button room divider.
