Graye LA Goes to Hollywood with Debut of New Showroom
A once sketchy stretch of Hollywood has become a bona fide design destination. Pucci, JF Chen Blackman Cruz, and Apparatus have all taken up residence. Now Graye LA has joined the neighborhood, opening a new showroom in what had been the private, appointment-only annex to its West Hollywood showroom on Robertson, shuttered since the move.
This means clientele can drop in at will to the 7,000-square-foot industrial space, designed by founder Maria Cicione. They’ll find that the contemporary collection Cicione has curated made the transition in seamless fashion. On view, for example, are pieces from MDF Italia, Porro, Porada, and De Castelli.
They’ll also discover newcomers. Look up to see Atelier de Troupe’s Alice chandelier, customized in mauve glass, or gaze downward at Glas Italia’s series of low parallelepiped tables. Making its debut at the showroom’s opening was Ossimori, a limited edition of lighting, mirrors, and sculptural objects by Studiopepe of Milan.
Products are one aspect of Graye LA. The other is its custom services and project management. All make the trip to Hollywood a worthwhile drive.
