Simplicity Rules Note Design Studio’s Bath Appointments for Lagom Bath

Nearly 5,000 miles separate Seoul from Stockholm. But when South Korea’s Lagom Bath engaged Sweden’s Note Design Studio to invent a suite of bath appointments, the shared sensibilities between Scandinavia and Asia all but eliminated the divide. Purity and simplicity rule the Note-designed Type 1 cabinets and vanity, towel and toilet-tissue holders, and pendant fixture. The studio then selected complementary shower and sink fittings by Vola and tile by Winckelmans to round out the collection. Materials are deliberately mixed: mirror, metal, ceramic, ash, and plastic composite. In keeping with the scale of both cities, the pared-back forms are ideal for compact quarters.
