Lauryn Pierce is a design optimist with a deep belief in the power of joyful, purpose-driven design to positively impact people and the planet. With over 12 years of experience in the flooring industry, she brings a unique blend of creativity and strategic insight to her role as Design Manager for the Shaw Contract Lifestyle Studio team, where she focuses on product development for the hospitality market. Lauryn’s passion for hospitality design is evident in the breadth and impact of her work. She has developed soft and hard surface products across multiple market segments and has played a key role in the creation of celebrated Shaw Contract collections including Radiant, Midnight, Awaken, ROAM Arctic Escape, Cultura, West Elm + Shaw Contract, Terra Meta (a collaboration with Rockwell Group), Branching Out, and Finding Focus. She also contributed to the development of Curate and the Mike Ford collection. Previously, Lauryn served as a senior designer on Shaw’s Lifestyle Studio product development team and as a senior designer for the Custom Design Studio. In this role, she collaborated with global hotel brands like Disney, Marriott, Hilton, and IHG on high-profile projects such as the Georgia World Congress Center, Disney’s Contemporary, Animal Kingdom Lodge, and Riviera Resorts. Her work has earned numerous industry accolades, including multiple NeoCon Gold and Silver Awards, Interior Design’s Best of Year, Best of BDNY, and HIP Awards. A graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design with a BFA in Fibers and a minor in Graphic Design, Lauryn was also a scholarship athlete on the women’s volleyball team. Outside of work, Lauryn finds inspiration in the outdoors—hiking, exploring national parks with her husband Drew, reading, cheering on the Atlanta Braves, and spending time with their two rescue dogs.
