A Genius Picnic-Table Design by Extremis Eliminates that Awkward Straddle
A picnic table called Anker has come ashore at Extremis. Dirk Wynants Design Works cleverly separated the three integral benches with supports that curve downward, so six people can grab a seat without needing to straddle anything. Specify the supports in steel that’s galvanized or powder-coated in a choice of three colors. Meanwhile, the tabletop and bench seats are available in iroko or steam-treated European ash. The top of the optional Inumbrina umbrella, in white, taupe, or black polyester, is flat to reduce choppiness from sea breezes.
