Calling All Tri-state Designers: Deadline Extended for NYCxDESIGN Awards
Big news! Submissions are open for Interior Design‘s 9th annual NYCxDESIGN Awards and this year’s applicant pool—and breadth of creativity and innovation on display—will be more expansive than ever. True to the 2024 theme “Beyond the Boroughs,” for the first time, projects and products from New York state, New Jersey, and Connecticut are in the running for an NYCxDESIGN honor come May.
From established industry players to student designers stepping into the scene, this year’s festival aims to amplify the voices of a vast array of design talents, in and out of the city. Winners and honorees will be recognized at an in-person ceremony hosted by Editor-in-Chief Cindy Allen in late May, alongside the NYCxDESIGN Festival.
What to Expect from the 2024 NYCxDESIGN Awards
In addition to expanded eligibility, this year’s awards aim to celebrate unique design narratives in various locales, spotlighting the many ways local communities contribute to the city’s design scape. And there are two new submission categories, too: Technology is part of the products section and Entertainment is the latest addition to projects.
Ready to make your mark? Enter your most impressive project or product designs before submissions close on April 5, 2024. Students, don’t miss the chance to submit—free of charge.
