Wilson Associates Unites Design Community at Annual Point of Excellence Awards Luncheons

Wilson Associates
hosts two Point of Excellence Awards Luncheons, one in Dallas and one in Los Angeles, to honor hospitality product suppliers who serve the industry with excellence. At this year’s Dallas luncheon, in front of 300 guests, Wilson Associates honored Patty Frederick of Frederick & Associates and Elissa Murry of George Cameron Nash.
In addition to recognizing excellent service, the Point of Excellence Awards Luncheons also raise awareness and financial support for The Wilson Foundation, a non-profit organization founded by Trisha Wilson in 1997. All of the luncheon proceeds go directly to the foundation, which provides medical, educational and community outreach support to the children and teens of Vaalwater, South Africa, a rural area effected by the HIV/AIDS and TB pandemic. At the Dallas luncheon, Executive Director John Canterbury shared his plans to expand The Wilson Foundation’s efforts into the ‘colonias’ of South Texas, an impoverished area along the state’s southern border.
