Layered Fêtes 10th Anniversary By Reimagining Mainstay Prints

Stockholm flooring brand Layered mined the archives for an aptly named collection to fête its 10th anniversary: Ten Years Unfolding. “We truly believe in the power of a rug,” says founder Malin Glemme, who started the company after designing floorcoverings for her own home. “It can serve as the centerpiece that defines a room’s character.” Launched at Stockholm Design Week, the series reimagines three mainstay prints from the company’s early years, in fresh colorways. There’s Op Art–esque Illusion, from 2015, now in mulberry sky, monochrome, or blue sandstone. The thick lines of Letters, in teal umber, recalls ancient labyrinths, and Triangle enlivens successive variants of the titular geometric form in persimmon pink. Rugs are hand-tufted of 100 percent wool for extra plushness.
