A Rug That Brings Geometry To The Foreground
Like a theater in the round for your floor, colorfully geometric Topo was imagined by designer Marc Morro for Nanimarquina. The large circle punctuating its pale-toned backdrop can function as a focal point, starting point, or refuge depending on how you look at it. A contemporizing of the traditional kilim technique, the rugs are handwoven of hand-spun, naturally wavy Afghan wool from sheep that graze high in the mountains; the curl of the fibers and the irregularity of the yarn give the floorcoverings a unique, aged appearance. Topo is available with a black, green, or red circle set against an undyed background, in four sizes ranging from 67 by 94 inches to 118 by 157.
