Call for Entries: Shaw Contract 2019 Design Awards Now Open

For the fourteenth year in a row, Shaw Contract celebrates excellent design with their annual Design Awards, honoring projects that redefine and elevate the way people work, play, and organize their lives. The brand has announced the 2019 call for entries, inviting interior designers, architecture firms, and end users to enter projects from any design sector. Submissions must feature a Shaw Contract or Shaw Hospitality product, and must have been completed between February 2017 and February 2019. Entry is free and closes on March 1.

Once all the submissions have been gathered, an esteemed panel of design professionals will look at each project, assessing its merit based on the challenges faced by the design team and the unique way they overcame them. Final Place winners and People’s Choice winners will be announced this August, and can look forward to seeing their projects featured on Shaw Contract’s website. Final Place winners will also be treated to a curated experience of Art Basel Miami 2019. 

In addition to honoring great design, Shaw Contract seeks to build a lasting legacy by donating to organizations of the winners’ choosing. A $2,000 charitable donation will be awarded in the firm’s name to an organization of its choice. To date, Shaw Contract has donated nearly $150,000.
