Carousels Inspire Clara von Zweigbergk’s Cirque Pendant for Louis Poulsen

Clara von Zweigbergk’s head began spinning when she visited Tivoli Gardens amusement park in Copenhagen and saw how colors changed when viewed in motion—particularly on carousels. The Swedish designer’s Cirque pendants for Louis Poulsen capture those blurred hues in bulbous aluminum, painted in playful bands of yellow, copper, and gray. (There’s also an option boasting three tones of gray.) The shade’s matte white interior can reflect any LED light source on the market without glare. Sizes range from about 6 to 15 inches in diameter.
