Custom Wood Features Define a Meditative Home in Ukraine by Ryntovt Design

A comprehensive approach is sometimes the only one that will do. For a house in Ukraine, Ryntovt Design handled not only architecture and interior design, but furniture and landscaping. The result is a meditative space that highlights custom wood features. All the furniture was designed and produced in the firm’s workshop, including a table that integrates an oak trunk. Significant structural changes were necessary to meet the client’s needs. A staircase with ash treads was added at the main entrance. An ash stair, meanwhile, leads to the new attic. The palette, limited to white and gray, helps create a respite within the city.
